Hello LHA Friends!
In cooperation with the latest recommendations from the Governor’s Office and PA Department of Health, Leadership Harrisburg Area’s breakfast event on March 20 will be rescheduled to a later date.
Collective apologies from our board and staff for any inconvenience that this might cause. We share the disappointment in missing what was sure to be an outstanding program. A health and welfare crisis has a way of putting things into perspective and we fully support every precautionary effort and preventative measure to mitigate the community spread of the Coronavirus.
Kudos to the leaders and officials who have made tough decisions, and will continue to do so in the uncertain times ahead. Thank you for keeping the best interest of people and communities in mind. Now, we all must unite in finding a new normal, finding new ways to do business, finding lessons in the experiences, and, most importantly, finding new ways to serve those who need it most.
Continued community service is so important in a crisis like this. Leadership Harrisburg Area will strive to keep people informed about community needs and ways to help while staying safe and keeping others protected too.
And finally, we will continue to be adaptable in our program delivery until we emerge on the other side of this pandemic. Stay tuned for new information and resources as we explore creative programming options.
Thank you for your understanding and take care.
