Leadership Harrisburg Area seeks to improve the quality and effectiveness of leadership in the Capital Region by:
- bringing together for its development program current and emerging leaders representing a broad cross-section of the community
- encouraging an awareness of the problems, opportunities and resources available
- stimulating a commitment to the region to work together toward solving its problems and making the area a better place in which to live and work
- building and maintaining networks of community leaders who know and interact with each other
As a non-partisan, multi-racial and multi-cultural development program, Leadership Harrisburg Area is designed to produce well-informed, motivated leaders who are willing and capable of working together for a better Capital Region.
