Leadership Harrisburg Area is the region's premier community leadership training organization.

The program began in 1986 as an initiative of the Capital Region Chamber of Commerce in response to the need for a common meeting ground of shared concern among informed leaders from all segments of the community. Since its inception, Leadership Harrisburg Area has promoted excellence in nonprofit leadership with its experiential training programs and placement resources. Leadership Harrisburg Area is a private, non-profit organization serving Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry Counties.
