A Behind-the-Scenes Community Exploration for Senior-Level Executives
 
 

 

The Executive Leadership Series is a 5-session interactive review of the systems that affect the quality of life in Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry Counties.  Top leaders from government, education, the arts, health care, industry, and human services will meet participants to examine current issues and trends with intentional focus on partnerships and solutions.

2010 Schedule

Session 1 - September 16, 3:00-8:00          

Review of the factors affecting our Quality of Life including focus on Local Government.  Confirmed speakers include David Schankweiler, CEO Journal Publications; Kevin Kulp, President, Harrisburg Senators, Mark Butler, President & CEO, Ollie's Bargain Outlet.

Session 2 - September 28, 2:00-6:00              

A Tour of the Region narrated by local historian, David Morrison, with special points of interest including the PA State Capitol and US Army War College.

Session 3 - October 14, 3:00-8:00               

An exploration of regional healthcare issues with insights from Dr. Hal Paz, CEO & Dean of Penn State Hershey Medical Center.

Session 4 - October 26, 2:00-6:00            

Local developers discuss new projects and the logistics around economic development in Central PA.  Hosted by John Kirkpatrick, Editor, Publisher and President of The Patriot News and including a presentation from David Black, President & CEO, Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC.

Session 5 - November 10, 3:00-8:00

A focus on educational initiatives and partnerships featuring  Dr. John Cavanaugh, Chancellor, PA State System of Higher Education followed by GRADUATION and ALUMNI REUNION.
