Transitions, Changes & New Beginnings Luncheon

There are times that we have the luxury to plan for change at work or at home. Other times, change is unexpected; and sometimes, it is just plain unwelcomed. Some circumstances are beyond our control and we have to take what comes our way. What we CAN control is our response and how we handle change. Some of the most inspired leaders in our community have eloquently managed transitions, changes, and new beginnings. Let’s take part to learn what they did well and where they may have stumbled. Maybe their experiences can inform our decisions…and they are happy to share!
Bim Arthun, Past Director, Water Project for Haiti
Evelyn Chatel, ’15, President, Freedom Auto Group
Abdul Moosa, ELS ‘13, Owner, 717 Tacos
David Schankweiler, ‘90, Founder and Former CEO, Journal Multi Media

Attendees are invited to submit a favorite photo of their pet(s) for all guests to enjoy in a slide show during the event.
Needed items for the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area will be collected during the event.

Loyalty, Determination & Curiosity Breakfast

These loveable traits of our four-legged, furry, and tail wagging friends are also some of the exact same traits found in exceptional leaders.  Just a coincidence or is there something to learn here?  Can we learn to be better leaders from our pets?  Let’s explore the question, consider the pawsibilities, and maybe even meet an “expert” on the matter.
